Maryland weather in April can be pretty absurd, it was 85 degrees Saturday and it will be low 40s end of the night tonight. It’ll be 80s again this weekend and then down to the 30s next week lol

Jazz is also super talented and in his prime. A breakout, especially as a LHH in Yankee stadium wouldn’t be surprising. Wouldn’t be the first time the marlins gave away a future star before they hit their peak. Cabrera, Yelich, Realmuto, Ozuna, etc.

It’s also been like 3-5 games. Cedric Mullins is hitting .350 with 1100 OPS and he doesn’t use the bats.

First MLB of the year I’ll be attending tonight. Hopefully Devers gets a hit so I can frame the ticket stub.

FWIW - Aaron Judge is the best hitter in the league and has never used the bats. - Giancarlo Stanton used the bats last season and a lot of people think it is the reason for his severe elbow injuries that may cost him not only this season, but his career. - players like Davis Schneider use them and it doesn’t seem to be helping them. If the bat truly does give an unfair advantage, the entire league will starting using them. Right now the sample size is to small but it currently doesn’t worry me because it will either get banned or every team will adjust and use them also.

Some positives from the game - Whitlock is back, he looks awesome this year. Duran has had some really great swings today, 2 line drive opposite field hits and also lined out deep to left once. Some solid ABs from Campbell the bad - what the f*** is wrong with Rafael Devers? He drew two walks but his timing still looks horrible. Newcomb sucks but that’s expected and the Defense was pretty bad. a lot needs to be cleaned up with this team, especially offensively. Devers, Story, Rafaela, Casas and Wong all look absolutely lost at the plate.

I just don’t get it. Every other local team and league makes it incredibly easy for me to watch them. Wizards and Capitals have free apps to watch the games and are on YouTube tv. Commanders and Ravens do same thing. UMD Basketball, football, even field hockey and lacrosse or other obscure sports? No problems. God forbid the MLB let us watch the teams in the state I live in.

It’s very frustrating that the MLB and MASN both make it so damn hard to watch Orioles and Nationals games in Maryland. It’s blacked out on MLB TV and I don’t have cable (YouTube TV) so my only option to watch the games is VPN or illegal streaming.
