Did the Packers get screwed out of a win on Sunday?

GB screwed themselves when they traded Favre instead of bringing him back 1 more year. I know both had their own faults in the matter. But they where 13-3 last season and 1 play from the SB. Now there hoovering around .500 -

I can't even begin to fathom what it would cost for him. 6 top prospects? More? LOL Considering his age and talent, he might bring in the most talent from another team then any other player in the league.

I have read too the A's actually have money to soend. They may be making a push now instead of later. And if it doesn't pan out, Beane will collect prospects like usual.

Why Street is on his way out anyways. Gonzalez is good but fairly unprooven, and smith was 7-16 with a 4.16 ERA. Ya I think it's reasonable to think they can get more then that at the Deadline, from a team in need of hitting. It will depend if Beane wants quanity or quality.

Not really if they plane on capitalizing on his value at the TDL. When some contender is sure to be in need of a power bat for the stretch run.

Not a bad haul for the Rox. They get a Street to replace Fuentes. Gomez for the OF. I don't know that much about Smith. Tavaras could be closer to being moved now, with Gonzalez to replace him.

So what's up with Kelly? Is he going to pitch, or is he a good SS canidate? Thanks for all the info on these guys. I find it hard to keep up with anything more then the Sox,Pawtucket and maybe a little Portland. The lower level guys I know hardly anything about.

But aren't most of the Sox pitchers good at holding runners? I mean if he hits wouldn't that out weigh the occasional SB against him? I mean it's not like teams are stealing 5+ bags most night anyways. -

Maybe he gets moved again this off season. But they might sell him for a Kings ransom at the Trade Deadline. Which is probably where they will get better in return for him.
