  1. I think most people agree that Lowell is one of the biggest question marks this season. I don't think we can afford to wait around too long (like we did with Bellhorn last year) before we make a change.
  2. A. Gonzalez is struggling a little with the bat, huh? (0.097 BA)
  3. welcome. Billy Mueller kicks ass!
  4. welcome, and feel free to post and not just lurk.
  5. I'd like to confess that I am Bronson Arroyo!
  6. I saw Bronson pitch last year in Detroit. He had a no-hitter going until like the 7th inning, and ended up giving up like only 3 hits and 1 run. Good luck in Cincy!
  7. First, Singer say something of substance or don't post just because you are trying to up your post count. Second, I agree with alot of the things Rivernator said but everyone ignored in the first Arroyo thread. About poor BA, OBP, injury problems, doesn't fit the Red Sox mold. But as usual everyone starts backstabbing Arroyo and sucking Wily Mo's dick.
  8. Ya, this is an old thread about an article than some dumb columnist and his hair brained idea to get people to read his crap. Stop digging up old threads!
  9. jj redickous......ly gay
  10. welcome
  11. Do you call him Brandon on purpose, McCarver?
  12. chemistry is overrated.
  13. welcome, and the Sox will contend this year.
  14. I remember hearing a bunch of rumors about it yesterday and this morning before it was announced.
  15. Come on now, you don't really believe that Theo was ever gone do you??
  16. I am a Cincinnati fan and they have been talking about his upside for the past couple years. So far it hasn't really materialized because he either strikes out too much or is hurt. Maybe he will break through like Ortiz did when he got here. I think it is too early to tell if this guy will be our future RF.
  17. Wily Mo has great potential, but PLEASE do not call him a good, proven player. Please see my posts about career BA and OBP.
  18. He had to know signing that contract that he might get traded. He has been in trade rumors for the past couple years.
  19. He doesn't really fit the Red Sox mold of player though. His career OBP is only 0.303 and .248 BA. Not too good.
  20. I am sad to see Bronson leave, but he hadn't pitched well this spring and Wily Mo will be a nice addition, especially if he stops striking out so much.
  21. Did you want a gold star?
  22. My only beef is that most new members post here for a day or two, and then jerks like you chase them away by making them feel stupid or telling them they are wrong. Maybe this person is like 10 years old, and doesn't watch ESPN or read sports websites. That doesn't mean they can't post here though.
  23. It's jerks like you that chase away all our new members. Good job, we probably won't ever see that guy again. :thumbdown
  24. Why'd you make a whole new thread on this, when you also mentioned it in here? It's not that big of a deal.
  25. ya, I don't really wish injury on anyone, but it will be nice if he can't hurt us this year. Those silly Blue Jays, spending all that money on unproven players with injury problems.
