And April 30: April 30 -- The Boston Red Sox send Coco Crisp, off to a 5-for-90 start at the plate, to the minors to grow a nasty beard, lengthen his hair, and experiment with adultery.

    Come on Red, we could have put Arroyo in RF! The trade looks bad right now because Arroyo is doing so well, and Pena is not. I think in the long run (a few years down the road), this trade will end up favoring us though.

    Who would have thought 10 days ago that Bronson would have more homers than Manny and Wily combined? Has anyone seen Bronson's home run swing? It's pretty goofy looking.

    WMP struck out once today; that gives him 3 in 5 AB's so far this season. I know I will get murdered for this statement, since so many people love Wily Mo on this board, but if he keeps this up for another few weeks he will ride the bench the rest of the year. His poor play/mistakes haven't cost us a game yet, but they might when we are in a closer game. And just to fend off the envitable wolves that are coming, I pray every night that Wily will be a great player, and I want him to be a great player, I'm just not sure it is going to happen anytime soon.

    I think WMP will be a great player someday. The problem is do we really want a project when we are a team that wants to contend for the World Series?? Like last night when he was up at bat with guys on base and he struck out in 4 pitches. He needs alot more patience up there.

    Are you contridicting yourself in back to back posts? The first post you say they are just off to a hot start, and the next say they are a tough team. So which is it? Obviously they aren't going to keep hitting like this, but if their young pitchers keep this up they won't need to score 8 runs a game.

    Obviously they aren't going to continue hitting like this, but they aren't going to go back to being the Royals either. I think they can contend for the Central this year, they have alot of good, young pitching and lots of offense it no one gets hurt. Injuries were their problem last year, and terrible managing.

    Papelbon just has this nasty look of determination up there. That guy is a stud. On a side note, I hate MLB Extra Innings, they cut away when the game is only over for 3 seconds....
