I don't see the Yanks getting pitchers during the year, because not many teams will be out of the race and looking to deal. Does anyone know any possible big-name pitchers who could be on the market mid-season?

I was trying to add value to this now worthless thread by asking you to explain why you thought our infield sucked. But you are obviously just interested in causing trouble. Isn't it past your bedtime by now?
Loretta is better than average, since he has proven this spring to be past his injury of last year. And Pedirora (sp) will be in the majors by next year.
why do you say it is below average? Except for the bat of A. Gone and possible Lowell, we have great offense and defense in the infield. Certainly better than Bellhorn and Millar provided last year.
There are alot of columnists that know sports better than Simmons. People like him because he's funny and is so up on "pop culture". To me, it gets a little old though.
