    I'd be surprised to see him still playing for 5-6 more years. And if he is I don't know if he can win enough games at that point to reach 300.

    Are saying that it is nonsense to call Clemens a traitor? Just because you weren't a fan back then doesn't mean its not a worthwhile discussion about his traitordom. I agree the Sox would have the upper hand to win the WS with Clemens, but I think we have a pretty darn good chance without him. It's not woth desacrating (sp) the Red Sox uni to have him back it it. If a player of Clemens calibar has played for 4 teams in his career, he is a mercenary looking for the biggest payday.

    I didn't like having Lowell at first, but I am being converted. Maybe he will suck on the road, but we do still play 81 games at Fenway.

    Congrats Pedro. I got to see him pitch (and win) a game against the Tigers in Detroit back in 03. Of course that was the year the Tigers lost like 118 games.
