  1. That's a good sign.
  2. Do you see this alignment as providing 300 to 400 ABs for Nava? I am not seeing that unless there is a lot of injuries to Hanley, Castillo, Betts and Victorino.
  3. Aberrations are very infrequent occurrences, not something that happens twice in three years. Two Division Championsips and Two last place finishes by this ownership. Are they aberrations or not?
  4. But other teams will not offer enough to be worth trading him, when the Red Sox can let him play everyday in Pawtucket while trying to learn to hit. His value is low right now. I don't see them selling low on him while he has options.
  5. How many ABs do you think Victorino gets?
  6. Do we really need another post mortem on 2012 and 2014. They finished last and they sucked. 2014 was a wire to wire boring disaster. The FO did a s***** job in both seasons. No excuses please.
  7. Two last place finishes in 3 years does not represent an aberration whether or not they win the next 2 seasons.
  8. If Castillo plays RF, it will be because Betts is playing CF.
  9. His value is so low that he is worth more to keep as AAA roster filler.
  10. Is there a fangraph for idiotic base running? The guy pulls rocks on the bases like crazy.
  11. Castillo is our long term center fielder. Bradley has no spot on this roster as a starter hitting .250.
  12. Ross is a fossil. It's time to move on.
  13. They didn't want to pay the guy. Other teams know that and the Rays lose leverage. I don't know about the prospect they got.
  14. drew Smyly is a good young starter. They also got a good young fly catcher who can steal bases.
  15. When you finish in last place twice in 3 years, that is not an aberration. It is more likely that the championship sandwiched between them was the aberration.
  16. Who would he platoon with in 2015?
  17. i like Fister.
  18. I'd love to have a punk with a 2.25 ERA.
  19. If you are hoping for Cueto, you should be prepared to say goodbye to Betts or XB.
  20. Nava's .563 is for his career. Sandoval's career OPS against lefties is .708.
  21. He is strictly a platoon option and there is no room on the roster for a platoon option. Against left-handed pitching he OPS s at .585.
  22. it's not good either.
  23. ^ I can't see you. Lol!
  24. apparently we paid $200 million to acquire 2 players to change their positions.
  25. He remains on ignore for me. He has nothing to add IMO. And he is a punk who leaves the scene when it is time to take his well- earned lumps. Put him on ignore, Fred. It's more fun that way. Ignore the cowardly potshots that will come your way from other posters quoting him.
