Ben did a great job with the pitching. He got the best guys available and he locked 2 of them up for multiple years. You can't blame Ben for this s*** show. All the good pitchers were already taken by the other GMs-- lucky bastards.
You got mocked for the thread about the rotation being the worst in 10 years, but it is playing out in the early part of the season. You were accused of trolling, but the question was very legitimate, and the SP performance is bearing that out.
Yep. Maybe his replacement will be an all time great and Salty will be the new Wally Pipp. Lesson to be learned, when you sort of suck at a very high paying job, you should never take time off. LOL!! He can cry all the way to the bank.
That's not hate. Them's just the facts. He is not a good catcher. He can't throw and he strikes out at alarming rate. On the positive side, he is tall.
Who hates Salty?
I am happy for him. He invoked his Union right to paid paternity leave and now he will get a lot of time to spend with the baby, and still cash his checks. Win win for him.
I think everyone knows where - stand on the issue. Mediocre bottom of the rotation guys are plentiful -- a dime a dozen. THere is no need to commit long term to the guy.
