i am, i say we trade manny to the angels for erstad and 1 great prospect, and them taking all manny's $ while we take all of erstad's $ then we turn around and trade those 1 great prospect, w/ marta for tejada, and we take about 80% of tejada's $...this would solve our ss and 1b problem, give us a great bat, hard working player, and a great friend of ortiz's, and save money for damon, and i also think we should send cash and nixon for tracey from AZ, so the opening day lineup could look something like this; damon- loretta tejada ortiz lowell-gold tracey tek-gold rondell white-sign him for 3 years/11 million erstad-gold thats a pretty good lineup and if anyone is asking erstad-8.25 million tejada-(what we pay) 9.6 million a year for fours years thats about 17.8 million of manny's contract and we send the other 2.2 million to AZ with nixon's 7.5 million contract...and we still have about 22 million that we saved off edgars contract and the 25 million we already had..plently of money to resign damon and bolster up of pitching staff more

i like nomar and i think the sox should give him a high paying incentive contract, up to like 11 million, if he preforms, he'll make the dough, if he doesn't, then he'll make a base salary of about 4 million...its that simple, money is the motivater these days

all of them also had what i call a herky-jerky windup...i think that kind of windup confuses the batter as well

Definately with that farm system they have, i would love a trade with the dodgers, but i would rather keep manny

i would love to have Pedroia practicing ss, that way if mark loretta has a mark loretta year and if edgar has a 2005 year, we can trade edgar, resign loretta, and have a very promising, cheap ss coming up

me personally, i like this group of GMs because I'm a firm believer in two heads are better than one because if you have one GM, he's going to go after the players he wants, and if you have 4 guys, like we have now, if you put your heads together you can come up with some great deals, like they have, hats off guys

just curious, why would you trade a gold glover 3b and keep a guy thats going to make 30+ errors a season? I do like the idea of dunn if we trade manny, i think he's a great power hitter with a great OBP, i remember when cincy wanted to bat him Leadoff because he was the only one with a high OBP
