Play Pena at first base, Manny in lf, Coco is center, Drew in Right and Youk at 3rd, and trade Lowell for what ever you can get.

How much would Foulke get in arbitration... he had a decent year last year especially from Aug. 15th on. I bet he could get 5-6 million. In which case he would have to consider accepting, I definetly wouldnt be agiasnt that we need as much bullpen help as we can get.

4 years 56 million, hmm that figure seems very fimilar... Damon would have been a better investment last year at that money.

Keep Manny, breaking up the best 3-4 combo in in recent history is not how you solve a teams problems; lets face it Manny is not a clubhouse cancer everybody seems to like him and he just goes out and hits 40 HR every year. I know people will talk about last september but whats the point at age 34, when the team is out of it to play with Patella tendonitis. The only way that can fully heal is getting proper rest.

White sox lose pitching, but get a player that is great... I like the trade for the Sox.

When Papelbon started in 05, he was at 93-95 for most of the game in all three of his starts. What makes Papelbon so great is his location and his fastball has great movement. You put so much emphsis on velocity when Location and movement is so much more important. Just ask Josh Beckett whose fast ball s very straight.

Clemens would have zero reasons to return to NY at this point except maybe Pettitte, however if he pitches in 07 it will be for Boston or Houston. -

wow, chill out. Its juss Speier, its not the end of the world. Papelbon not being the closer is really going to hurt though. I have no idea who our closer is going to be next year. Maybe we will go after alan Embree!
