When push comes to shove, the A's lineup wont be able to get it done. Their is just not enough pop in their lineup, i do agree that they are a good team, but their lineup could easily be shut down come post season time

The yankees have too many holes in their pitching staff, i mean they signed Nomo, that must mean they are incredibly desperate, also other than Rivera who has been consistant in their bullpen. The sox have a better Rotation, will have a better bullpen when Foulke comes back, and they have a more consistant lineup.

Manny is not in the lineup because of all the stuff that is whirling around, it was Terry's desicon, and a guy on espn news said that Danny baez and Huff have are going to different teams, so it appears the trade is dead

every body wants us to get a closer now, what about Foulke, he would have to be given another chance when healthy, i mean the guy was dominant last year. Say we got Wagner where would Foulke go when he came back?

If Manny gets traded and Jonnhy walks at the end of the year, the redsox are gonna be in tough shape next year, and will struggle to make the playoffs

Stuff like this happens every year with manny, the bottom line is that he is going to 300. with 40 homers and 140 RBI and in the end that production is going to help you win more games, then his off field antics will make them lose games.

Good lord does it really matter we were playing Tampa Bay and we won, If Adam Stern is so bad that Francona cant put him in the lineup to spell Manny for a game or two, whats the point of him being on the big club
