    Papelbon's stature is suited best for the rotatation, he is built big and could be a 230+ inning pitcher... Which is just more valuable then 75 innings being a closer. Im sorry i mean right now during this disaster Papelbon hasnt even had many chances to pitch, starting pitching comes first, always... Then you worry about your bullpen. As for short we have to keep Gonzo he was playing great ball for us. I think Pedroia is more suited for second base, I also think the sox should go after A. Ram from CHC, I think Crespo mentioned he could opt out of his contract, also I would sign Gill Meche, he had great stuff on friday night and is only 27. He was consistanly throwing 96-97. Just my thoughts on the conversation.

    What people dont understand is, if you dont watch every game every day you just cant truly appreciate how great Papi is. A rule put in baseball should not hurt a players chances of MVP, I am fully confidant Ortiz would put up very similiar numbers if he played the field.

    I wouldnt mind if Papi shut it down for the season to be quite honest. We arnt going anywhere and we want a healthy papi for 07. Take all the time you want big fella.

    I was just thinking today, wow we are really going to be near the same team this, excpet all of our vets are 1 year closer to retirment. We arnt going to compete with the yankees until the 08/09 season.

    15 Jacks including a 3 run homer tonight, he has spent a considerable amount of time on the DL as well, which have hurt his power numbers. It would be 1-0 still if Coco didnt suck.
