    its not happening, I would rather keep manny resign Gonzo and go after big time pitching in the offseason. The last thing this team needs is a self conscious head case. I actually am in the belief that Manny is more vauable hitter, they put up similar numbers anways, also less teams would pitch to Papi because of the known struggles of ARod in the clutch. lets just say no to this and move on.

    yeah stay away from bonds, go after Soriano and put him in right and move Pena to left. Then some how acquire A. Ram from the cubs Youk 1b Soriano Ortiz Manny A. Ram Pena Tek Pedroia Gonzo That would be a sick lineup, and it could happen if A. Ram is avaviable this offseason.

    I say 19-6 with a 3.30 Era, 200 ks in 230 innings. He has the stuff to do it, he just has to have a much better mental approach and I think he will.

    Torre is to blame here. It was a huge mistake to bat AROD sixth in the first game. It completly took his head out of the game, its not good to take away what ever confidence A-rod had left. It will be wierd to not see Torre in the yankees dugout next season.

    Just so everyone knows, Manny isnt going anywhere. Nobody is going to trade great young pitching for a 35 year old OF with a huge salary, thats why Manny is still here and thats why Manny will remain here.

    Why does everybody think we shouldnt resign Foulke.... First off he isnt a FA, he has an option and if he doesnt retire he is do 3.5 million. Plus since his return from the D.L. he had an ERA of about 2.00, his stuff was as good as it was in 04. His high Era before the trip to the D.L was scewed by like 3 really bad outtings, however when he pitched more often than not he pitched well. With Papelbon going to the rotation you have to keep this guy around, after what he did from Aug. 15th on.

    moving Manny Ramirez would be a terrible thing and everybody knows it. You cant replace Manny's bat, you just cant.

    This is s***... Our offense was historic for 3 years 03-05. Papa Jack had a lot to do with that. This is so stupid, if anybody should be fired it should be Tito. He is a horrible manager who had 1 good month in 04. He makes countless in game errors and refuses to change his thinking, even if something is so obvious (the countless times he kept going to Timlin is just one many). f*** you Tito and Theo.

    I would rather have Gonzo back more so than Loretta, switch Pedroia to short who hit much better as time went on. Loretta is 36 next season, plus he hit in the 190's in september i think.

    Theo's just trying to make excuses for the sucky season they have had. Its mostly the FO fault why we are not going to the playoffs this year.

    People thought that about Nomar as well, and look what he is doing... however he will probally leave, which is almost inevidible and probally go to the Dodgers or Braves.

    Since the sox have fallen apart, I have been watching the Dodgers and started rooting for them (just for this year). I want to see Nomar and Grady win a championship as well as D-Lowe. Its a very interesting team out their, and they kind of remind me of the 03 Red Sox. It will still be a fairly entertaning october even with out our beloved sox in the mix.

    Eric Hinske needs to be dealt this offseason, he is a POS. I say bring Trot back as a platoon with Willy Mo, who cleary cant handle everyday in the lineup.

    It will be sad not to the here the Joe and Jerry combination I have grown a custom to over the years. I remember in the 03-04 Playoffs I muted the Tube and listen to the guys on the radio. The thing i liked the most was how much emotion they put into the broadcast, and how like the fans, they lived and died with every pitch. The combo will be missed by me.

    O.K first off, Nixon missed a month and so did Varitek, Wells pitched for us like 5 times, yeah they are playing now, but they are healthy again. Why risk further injury to Manny's knee when the games dont count. He did try to come back when we had a still had a "shot". Edes STFU.

    Day game after night game?? however knowing the matchups he could have started Tek in game one yesterday to set it up differently today. But then agian its all over so who gives a s*** anyways.
