    I can't believe people would stoop this low, and respond 135 times to a thread like this. This should have been moved crap after post 1.

    I will admit it, I am very freaked out about our bullpen. Name a quality guy other than maybe Timlin, and Maybe Donnely.

    Hopefully Timlin and Hansen will start getting into games soon.

    Donnely 2 runs in the 7th with one out. Our bullpen is pathetic, Theo needs to make a deal because this can be a very good team, we just need help out there.

    Drew had a nice opposite field double, and Lugo has also had a good game with a nice single, a walk and 2 runs scored. This was really the first game with the top six or 7 hitters the sox will feature on opening day. The lineup showed great patient and really made mets pitching work hard. This team is going to score a tun of runs.

    His Knuckle ball had great movement and he had some nice breaking balls.

    ALE: Yanks ALC: Twins ALW: A's ALW: redsox I want to say the sox are winning the division because we clearly have a better starting rotation, it's just that the bullpen scares the s*** out of me. That being said we had no bullpen in 03 either, but Theo traded for Williamson and Kim(who was pretty good in 03) so by the end of the season I think we will be fine there. I also think our offense is going to put up amazing numbers. I say we win 97 games, and because the Yankee lineup has a superstar at every position they will relentlessly beat on K.C. and Tampa and win 100 games. It's going to be another great season.

    So far we have signed Thomas, Welker, Morris, Brady, and Stallworth. Thats pretty good if you ask me, it looks like they will be a much improved team next season.

    If Colorado would accept and Taverez, Lowell and MDC for Helton and money, then I would do it in a heartbeat.

    I hate to say it but that arguement kind of goes out the door, when we spend 100 mill on Dicek and 75 million on J.D Drew.

    He is going to get hammered this year if he pitches like he did in the first inning, he gave up two bombs that were foul and only threw like 40% of his pitches for strikes. However its only his first start. Edit- The only two to three pitches that hit the 90's were so obvisously over thrown

    Well, i'm not a newbie to red sox fandom, and I think Pedroia will be an O.k. player, I was simply pointing out that Lorreta was good for us last year and and wondering if it was a good idea to not give him a one year deal. IMO, I don't think Pedroia is the long term answer at second base. Does that statement make me a newbie red sox and baseball fan. Allthough I will say I'm a fairly new sox fan sense I started following the sox in 1995, when I became old enough to start to understand the game of baseball.
