    If branch was put in to the Colts system, he would have 85+ catches 1,300 yards and 8-12 TD's. He is that good, Tom brady just throws to everybody, which I suppose is why I am not overly concerned but you cant say Branch doesnt have the talent of the Top WR's, because he does plain and simple.

    Branch isnt worth Wayne money... but either is Reggie Wayne himself. However if you put Branch in the Colts system, branch would be one of the best statstical WR in the game. With out Deion, Brady is going to struggle like yesterday.

    I think once the dogs are done, We should call up Ellsbury, to see what he can do. The guy is fast as s*** and is a pretty good hitter as well.

    We suck right now, and its very painful to watch, I really dont know why I still watch but I do and I have to say one thing, If Mike Timlin wasnt so Horrible, we would still be in the playoff race. I can think of 5 games off the top of my head that he has blown almost single handedly. Im so glad the Patriots are on today or I would have to painfully watch another K.C sweep of the Sox.

    You take Jeter off the Yankees, they still score a ton of runs, and when Ortiz is out of the lineup we score 1 run in 2 games, you cant sit here and tell me that Jeter is more important to the Yankees is than Papi is to the Red Sox.

    Trot Nixon will play for the paw sox thursday, friday and saturday Gonzo will play fri and sat Tek will play fri and sat, and they all could be actviated on sunday. Its a shot in the arm but its too little too late.

    I would rather have Wake start next year over Lester. Wake is solid, Lester is not, wake throws strikes, Lester dosnt, Wake gets deep into the game, Lester is not, If Wake is around next season he is in the rotation.

    If you remember didnt AROD win the MVP on a last place team in 03? Its all about the numbers and Jeter does not have MVP numbers and ORtiz and Dye do.

    If Jeter wins the MVP im going to vomit. It should be Ortiz because he carried the sox for 4 months on his back, and has huge numbers. If Papi doesnt win its going to be Dye, no question about it.

    Oh, come on you still had Jeter Arod, Posada, Damon, Cano(for a while). Right now our best hitter is Youk. We have our SS, LF, both RF's, C and captian, plus Lorreta should be on the DL. Plus your injuries hit towards the begining of the season when your FO and team had plenty of time to adjust to the circumstances. Its hard when they all happen in august when the race is really tight.

    Papelbon's stature is suited best for the rotatation, he is built big and could be a 230+ inning pitcher... Which is just more valuable then 75 innings being a closer. Im sorry i mean right now during this disaster Papelbon hasnt even had many chances to pitch, starting pitching comes first, always... Then you worry about your bullpen. As for short we have to keep Gonzo he was playing great ball for us. I think Pedroia is more suited for second base, I also think the sox should go after A. Ram from CHC, I think Crespo mentioned he could opt out of his contract, also I would sign Gill Meche, he had great stuff on friday night and is only 27. He was consistanly throwing 96-97. Just my thoughts on the conversation.

    What people dont understand is, if you dont watch every game every day you just cant truly appreciate how great Papi is. A rule put in baseball should not hurt a players chances of MVP, I am fully confidant Ortiz would put up very similiar numbers if he played the field.

    I wouldnt mind if Papi shut it down for the season to be quite honest. We arnt going anywhere and we want a healthy papi for 07. Take all the time you want big fella.
