Nah its cool. It is is cool though to see guys like Schilling, Varitek & youkilis dump the jelly doughnuts in the offseason and get to the physique that will help them best. Especially Schilling.
I believe the favorite is John Flaherty, who is of course coming from a 3 year tenure with the Yankees (RJ's personal catcher in 05. He just has this work ethic with pitchers that fits well with Boston & working with Varitek. Also giving the captain every 5th day off, for a catcher entering his age 34 season, I'll take it. As for offense... The team right now "on paper" is set to be solid at run prevention, that Im expecting to see a number of 3-1 wins and such.
Even so they still have Papi & Ortiz (another combined 80 HRs/250+ RBIs) and players in Loretta, Gonzalez & Lowell who are moving from pitcher's havens to 1 Fenway Park. Those 3 should have bounce back years added to the fact those 3 are all dead pull hitters IMO hello green monster. Nixon if healthy I can see him getting to the 20 Hr mark & 70+ RBIs
