  1. They played well under Mike Singletary, and would've gotten to 8-8 had Singletary not f***ed up the end of the Cardinals game that Monday night. They might be alright next year, especially in that division.
  2. Patriots fans really have no right to complain about the Cardinals or Chargers getting in with their records when they themselves benefitted from how terrible those two divisions are. The Patriots were an 8-8 team playing a cake schedule. Besides, the Chargers destroyed the Patriots this season.
  3. I should add that the Broncos need to hire a competent defensive coordinator -- one who's capable of making in-game adjustments. Getting rid of Dre Bly wouldn't hurt either.
  4. Broncos need to improve their D-Line -- not sure who's available, but on the radio they were mentioning that the Broncos had enough room under the cap to get Albert Haynesworth so I would assume he is. Not sure if they plan to move Wesley Woodyard to safety, but if he can fill in there and play well, that'd help out a lot. They really just need to stay healthy. They've been hit by the injury bug as much as any team this year, including seven RB's on the injured reserve, and their two best defensive players missing huge chunks of the season.
  5. Another fumble by the Cowboys! Romo again this time! And we're still only halfway through the third quarter!
  6. 41-3 on another defensive TD! Holy s***! I'm loving this!
  7. I'd like to see the Steelers go to, and lose the Super Bowl with Byron Leftwich starting for them in the playoffs, and Big Ben starting the Super Bowl. It could be to either Atlanta, Philadelphia, or New York. That's my new dream scenario assuming the Broncos lose tonight.
  8. Roy Williams has done so little for the Cowboys that it's amazing to me. Coming into this game today, he'd had 17 catches in 9 games. Raises an interesting question -- would he rather be known more for the disaster that was the 2008 Detroit Lions season? Or the disaster that was the 2008 Dallas Cowboys season? Eagles up 27-3... Cowboy's season is just about done for. Wade Phillips should be fired -- then again, he never should've been hired, so we'll see. By the way, Brian Dawkins, after the Eagles score a TD, is kinda funny to watch. By the way, thanks to Kilo's Packers today -- the Lions became the first 0-16 team in NFL history. Amazing.
  9. I was thinking Steelers, as much as I'd hate to see that happen. I still don't think Big Ben's a particularly good QB, but that defense is just mean, and could carry any team to a Super Bowl. But the Colts and Giants would be my picks right now. A battle between the last two teams/QB's to win Super Bowl's. And the whole brothers thing may get a mention or two.
  10. Eh, I don't think they win big, but I'd be surprised if the Broncos won. They're way too beat up.
  11. Tatum Bell still. But he was selling cellphones in a mall 6 weeks ago. They brought up some guy I've never heard of from the practice squad and signed another guy I've never heard of to back up Bell, though. Even with all the issues at RB, the Broncos still rank in the middle of the league when it comes to rushing the ball. I've never seen a team get so decimated by injuries at any one position. And their luck at LB hasn't been much better.
  12. Broncos put two more RB's on the injured reserve today. That makes SEVEN Broncos RB's on the IR. That's ridiculous.
  13. Yeah, I didn't do any of the Bowl Game Pick'ems. but I'd have picked CSU as well. They're both middle of the road teams in their conference... CSU comes from the better conference.
  14. CSU RB was straight dominant. 285 yards rushing, 90 yards receiving... good win for CSU!
  15. Again, give me the guy who's an ******* off of the field over the guy who takes plays off and quits on his team any day of the week. I'm curious, though... what success has McNabb had in Philly without him? They've been to the playoffs once without him and that was the year McNabb got hurt and Jeff Garcia lead them to the postseason. Has any team been more successful without TO than they were with him?
  16. Being a "scumbag" hasn't even gotten you banned from this forum yet and you think it's reason enough to ban Manny from the game of baseball?
  17. I believe that would be collusion. Would it not? The reason nobody supported your stance, pinstripezac, is because Manny didn't do anything that bad.
  18. By the way, I saw this somewhere and forgot to mention it. In that game in which 'Melo had 33 in the third quarter, his player efficiency rating in that third quarter was nearly 200. The best players in the NBA are typically around 30 over the course of the season.
  19. They better get their s*** together in time for that week 17 showdown against the Lions. 1-15 is not an option.
  20. That ball doesn't look like it broke the plane of the endzone to me. Certainly shouldn't have been overturned -- hardly undisputable.
