  1. This is a very good signing for the Celtics, and he is also much better than his stats indicate. He basically OWNED the ACC on a very deep team with limited minutes. Great pickup for the C's, offensive firepower from the bench, which any team can use.
  2. I think I deserve these tickets because I have never been to Fenway and I want to be able to enjoy the experience at the Fens, and in Boston. I have been bugging my parents all sumer about going out there because I have the money but they won't let me go alone, now I can bring my dad and let him see why I have become such a fanatic these past few years. I would LOVE to go, and could attend either game. My birthday is on September 11th, and this would WITHOT A DOUBT, be the best birthday present I have ever gotten! I hope I win, and if not, whoever wins will no doubt have a blast, and enjoy these tickets tremendously, I know I would.
  3. I second that, if I win I'll fly to Boston. I appreciate the offer Sox fan on Cape
  4. LOL, welcome to the site
  5. RSR, Ive been wondering that ALOT lately too, I figured it to be people (like Yankeessuck013 or Crespo) who search our boards for stuff to put on their boards, if not I dunno. :dunno:
  6. Welcome, enjoy your stay. And I'm with you on the back-to-back, lets do it!
  7. By the way you guys talk about him, he must be special. And I agree, why not give him a shot? I mean its not like the vets (besides Timlin) have been producing like they can and should. And if he throws upper 90's with a nasty slider thats big leaugue stuff with plenty of upside.
  8. I heard more about it, and its supposed to be rather soon. I agree BigPapi, It will prob not be anybody (like Millar ) Maybe thats why his power numbers are down
  9. That is the question we all want the answer to
  10. Don't worry, Theo won't be the GM of the Yankees. Jeter is safe Snb988
  11. Its so unfortunate how hes been getting hurt this year, when healthy he can give the Cubs a very good bat in their lineup. Get healthy soon Nomar
  12. LOL, the schedule works out that the Royals play the Yankees after their possible 24th straight loss??? THAT would be HILARIOUS!
  13. Don't you mean Talksox? Your such a saint, maybe this is my chance to go to Fenway
  14. Some of them are brutally honest about their team
  15. 1. NBA 2. MLB 3. NCAA Basketball 4. NFL 5. NCAA Football 6. NCAA Baseball 7. NHL 8. NCAA Hockey 6-8 I don't watch much but if I had to Id rather watch a baseball game than a hockey game, but thats just me.
  16. Hey guybo did you catch the two DP's Edgar turned today too?
  17. Wouldn't all of you Yankee fans love that?
  18. So everyone is all for trading Manny for a mediocre centerfielder in Mike Cameron? So then who is supposed to protect Papi in the lineup, MIKE CAMERON?!?!? With his monster 12 HR bat, I don't think so. And with the firstbaseman talks, if we WERE to get a big name 1st baseman, I would want a righty to give it a Right Left Right look with Ortiz and Manny.
  19. Isn't it irionic how the Yankee fans just appear after they gain a game and start acting like their Peter Gammons, saying "Oh hes not fit for the closer role, I told you so..." Hindsight is 20-20 folks, where were you when this experiment started??? Nowhere on this board. Unless we use a Timlin, Papelbon, or a Delcarmen (hes got closer stuff) Schill's all we have and 9 for 11 in saves is getting the job done (albeit shaky when he comes in, he still has 9 saves). OH, and YANKEESRULE welcome back, Its been almost a month...Where have you been???
  20. Thats true, this one loss could turn into 10 if he got hurt, I see what your saying
  21. Very true
  22. Maybe he didn't want to risk injury, seeing that he pitched 114 or more pitches, but that really doesn't make sense to me, Harden is an elite pitcher.
  23. Who says he has a guaranteed ticket to the majors??? Whats so great about him, I know the story but never actually saw him pitch.
