    It doesn't AT ALL matter overall record, it matters record against Boston and against New York. Both Toronto and Tampa have played very good against Boston and New York. And you thinking just because were playing a team that we've struggled with, the team you have struggled with will be all of a sudden a cake walk???

    Its actually our bullpen thats been bad this year. Our staff isn't what it was last year, but its better than what your saying it to be Ruffing.

    HISTORY was made. That has NEVER happened, and it happened against the Yankees, our bitter rivals. And it was 86 years since our last World Series Ring. There cannot be overkill when something like that happens.

    WELL, maybe you didn't on here, BUT I know thats TONS of people (Yankee fans too) counted him out and us too because "You don't know what your getting out of Foulke and Schilling..." BLAH BLAH BLAH. Yankee fans can deny it all they want (I don't think I saw you specifically RedRuffing15) but my point is, the consensus among Yankee fans was that Schilling pitching in the rotation was a horrible idea. Harold Reynolds picked the Yankees because of Curt's lack of time as well as Foulke. And as sure as the Red Sox won 9-2 today, Harold Reynolds will back-pedal with his remarks. I know what Tex said, I read it. I personally am not counting the Yankees out, not yet at least. Not until we have clinched.

    Heh, sounds like something Yankee fans did about some old guy the plays in Boston about 2-3 weeks ago. So your saying counting Curt Schilling was stupid then right??? Oh and for the record, I'm not counting them out yet, but its nice to have at least one victory in the series against them. And a win Sunday would make our position even better with NYY playing against Tampa this week.

    It would be all over the news, come on it's A-Rod. Anyway, when my mom told me this (that where I first heard about it) I was not at all suprised. Curt and Shonda have been wonderful charity workers for awhile. He did commercials for the auction the D'Backs always have every year for MD (Muscular Dystrophy) and contributed heavily. Great man, great heart and I sincerely applaud him and its good to see people like him, Stephon Marbury, Warrick Dunn, the Washington Mystics President, MLB, the Rangers, the Yankees, NBAPA ($2.5 Million and Billy Hunter says it probably won't be a one time donation), and many many other very generous souls. Schillings a good man people, lay off!

    HMMM, so you've had your ankle surtered (sp?) huh? Dude, get over the sock thing, it wasn't fake, he did it against NYY and obviously you have to brush it off as an act. And he was ASKED to testify by CONGRESS...I think if the government asks you to do something like that, you do it.
