  1. Welcome!
  2. Fantastic talent, and a great shooter. I was so psyched to see who the Suns would draft I sorta didn't pay attention to many things, except where the players I WANTED the Suns to draft went (Warrick 19 to Memphis, Granger 21 to Indiana). I wasn't in any analyzing mood, after the trade (Q, and Nate Robinson to NYK for Kurt Thomas  ) but him, T-Mac and Yao is a good trio, but I'll take Nash, Matrix and Amare
  3. Yeah, I personally am not worried when the my team plays him because he's not tough, and because Amare Stoudemire is a BEAST!!! But IF (extremely large if) he gets tougher he will be even better. Not like Shaq but a nice center in the NBA.
  4. No doubt, he makes them more money then they will pay him, but hes better than an OK player. He's 7'6", and averaged 18 points, and around 9 boards (should be WAY higher but hes soft IMO) He has MAD potential and could become a fantastic player in the NBA (Not Shaq-esque, but very very good.) Like I said before, I like this move (from a basketball perspective). I think that if they get a pass first point guard, they will be VERY dangerous. BrentD- Dino Radja??? You think Yao's only barely better than Radja...? Sox Fan in Tex- Who'd the Rockets draft? A PG? I forgot...maybe I'm underestimating them. :dunno:
  5. This should be an entertaining game and series. Haren vs. Leiter should be a good matchup.
  6. Because we cannot do much worse than Kevin Millar. Brent- I DO see what your saying, but now that we won...can't we try to repeat? That's all this is, we want to win again, and we see that Millar isn't the fit at First Base, or anywhere here. Edit: I didn't realize your meaning of "we" until I clicked send. I thought you meant the organization, not us literally. Well, thats why we're the fans and their the players, they get payed to play and we want the best team the Red Sox can run out there, and with Millar in the lineup, it doesn't seem to be the best team.
  7. I got my shirt today! Sweet shirt, thanks again Sox Fan on Cape!
  8. Hey man, I hope your right about Kevin breaking out of his slump for the playoffs, but he has NOT showed any signs this season that he will.
  9. Welcome to the site!
  10. I'm sure pissed about this. f***ing Spurs get better, Finley would get more playing time in Phoenix, and MOST likely would have started. I was almost certain that we would get him. Our management is f***ing us over, barely 6 months after the whole city was praising them for the moves they made. Now, I don't know who were going to get.
  11. This is huge for the Rockets. They are making a point that they aren't just playing to make the playoffs, and that they want to win. I don't know how much longer Tracy McGrady's contract is (I assume at least a couple years left) but now they can concentrate on getting a point guard, and making themselves championship contenders. Big statement by Rockets organization, not like they scared me anyway, but at least the thought of Yao on the Lakers is gone, because who knows what Phil Jackson could have done with Yao. He sure helped Shaq develop into the most dominant force in the NBA.
  12. LOL Well you missed him tonight Tex, he's back.
  13. Yeah, thats way overboard, no matter what team you are fans for. That's uncalled for, and I can totally understand his anger.
  14. Talk about us being arrogant...Sheesh, they don't even have the lead and talk about us blowing it. :thumbdown So Bellhorn's going to lead the charge into the playoffs for the Yanks, huh? So he was the missing piece?
  15. So you have full confidence in Alan Embree coming in a game (say in the next series) to face David Ortiz with runners on second and third, No outs and the Sox close to blowing it open? I know I wouldn't.
  16. Did he have surgery on it in the off-season?
  17. LOL! Welcome Jason
  18. OH, heh. Well Millar would have been nice, LOL.
  19. LOL, I didn't know that. Well I wouldn't be all joyful to go there and get that crap. Who likes to be called that? Not me.
  20. LOL, so true.
  21. Yeah because a pitcher like Trachsel is worth more than Millar.
  22. Not surprising, I figured he would be picked up by SOME contending team. But the Yanks weren't one of the teams I thought he would go to because of Cano. But I'm certaintly not surprised, especially after picking up Embree.
  23. Yeah, thats the only question with this deal. I live in Arizona and got to see the games where he LIT UP the D'Backs (Granted, the D'Backs but still) and hes WAY better than Millar. Thats why I'm saying, do it NOW before Minaya realizes this is dumb. They have no need for a pinch hitter, they have Jose Offerman and Marlon Anderson for that. Millar would not fit anywhere on the Mets, if this is a proposed deal, it should be done immediately!
