    B.S. You are not moving forward. Ever since the end of the 2004 season all we hear is "26." Play it both ways, stop looking back at your past accomplishments -- many which have come prior to your lifetime -- and look at this year. Your team is old, your farm system doesn't exist, for 95% of the year you've been behind BOTH the Sox & Orioles -- even behind the Blue Jays for some of that. And saying that people will forget about 2004 is a mistake. Even YOU will look back at it and see that this was the turning point of Massachusetts' teams destroying teams from New York. Patriots > j-e-t-s, World Champion Red Sox > yankees, Celtics > Knicks.... it's pretty embarrassing on your state's behalf.

    Parking prices were insane when I saw the Sox & Rangers a little while back, I think they're still paying A-Rod's contract. Yankees take 11-10 lead.

    I'm not down on our team. I wasn't down when Schilling gave up that 2-R HR to A-Rod because I knew it was going to be a long series, I wasn't down when we lost the series to New York, and one game vs. Tampa Bay isn't going to change my thoughts. This baseball season is a marathon, if the Yankees come back and beat Texas tonight taking over first place then so be it. Season is far from over.

    If the Rangers can pull this one off, it'll give a little relief, but there still is no excuse for our lack of offense tonight.

    Depends who they would have ended up getting for him. Pierce needs to stay for obvious experience reasons, but I'm really looking forward to what the Celtics are going to look like 5 years down the road.
