  1. Well, I guess I'll now for sure have to see if I can snag some tickets for opening night. That's tough though, added with a six hour drive to Arlington(TX) for the game and six hours back on a Monday night.
  2. Sorry thewarriorscode, but because he's not always in a suit off the court doesn't make the guy dress like a hobo. You could give your argument with his hair, but you're not making much of a point there. Example one: http://www.ilcannocchiale.it/blogs/bloggerarchimg/extraterrestre/act_steve_nash.jpg Now where was I? Oh yes, making fun of Pennsylvania sports teams.
  3. So wait, yeszir: You're going to pull for a team that has a history of cheating and has always been second best in the city over a group of classy guys, some of whom have been on the team longer than ten years waiting for a World Series title?
  4. Don't be a dumbass. You know exactly who this code is directed towards. When was the last time you saw a guy like Steve Nash wearing jewelry. And are you serious... Jason Williams might as well call himself black, look at the guy: http://cbs.sportsline.com/u/photos/allsport/2001/jun/williamstraded62701.jpg I don't necessarily agree with Steven Jackson, but I can see 100% where he is coming from. Stern isn't the smartest guys to begin with either. P.S. Take all the shots you want at the guy and his team, but the fact of the matter is the state of Indiana HAS A BASKETBALL TEAM. The only time we hear from your state regarding basketball is when Iverson runs off his mouth. Heck, the only time we hear from your state SPORTS WISE is when the Patriots kick the crap out of the Steelers. http://www.redneck.org/piss.gifhttp://re2.mm-c1.yimg.com/image/1293212072
  5. Bring On Chicago!
  6. Worst day of the year. Period. The game was wrapped up... they had it... wow. How did it slip away? I'm at a loss of words.
  7. Christ... that game took so much out of me. Damn Albert Pujols! How do you not win it with a two run lead, two outs, bases empty and two strikes on a guy in the ninth at home? If there isn't a curse, there should definitely be one considered.
  8. Yeah, 26 to 6... no idea why I originally typed that the game would be STL. Don't worry yeszir, you don't have to watch the Astros take the World Series. I'm sure your boys from Tennessee have another game to lose: http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a202/tx_soxfan11/vandy.jpg Might as well make the trek to South Carolina to see the fourth loss in a row, right?
  9. I can just sense it with Andy Pettitte on the mound tomorrow in Houston that the Astros can get to the Series. C'mon 'stros, advance to your first World Series in franchise history for the city of Houston and people like my father who grew up watching games in the Astrodome and have loved this team for 35+ years. LET'S GO ASTROS!
  10. Greatest. Game. Ever. Like most here I'm sure, I was pulling for Notre Dame (don't really care too much for USC). When Leinhart was stopped short of the touchdown and the clock kept running, I was sure that ND had pulled off the upset. Looking at USC's schedule, it looks like they will easily role from here on out.
  11. http://thetrack.bostonherald.com/images/more_track/nomahdg10122005.jpg
  12. Don't fear Yankees fans. I talked to Joe Torre today, and he told me that starting with this upcoming season (assuming New York makes the playoffs) one of these will be posted in A-Rod's locker: http://www.med.umich.edu/1libr/aha/heim.gif Pooooooooooor Alex Rodriguez
  13. Also forgot to mention what else I think of A-Rod: MVP! MVP! MVP! MVP! MVP! BWAHAHAHAHAHA! What an overpayed joke.
  14. The postseason: The time of year NOT to go 3-for-16 and ground into a double play when it matters most aka the 9th inning with the game on the line. Thanks for giving me another laugh A-Rod, because at bats like that one in Anaheim are why they pay you the big bucks. P.S. still 2000.
  15. For the Celtics to even be considering this, is beyond my mind. Re-stating what Michael Holley said this morning on WEEI, If I had season tickets I would give them up if the C's did this. So what if it financially benefits Boston? It doesn't benefit the team on the court.
  16. I'm searching the Herald's website right now and I can't find anything.
  17. Youk, say it ain't so! http://image46.webshots.com/47/3/32/64/321333264DpatiT_ph.jpg
  18. Figure out a way to bring Blowhorn and Embree back.
  19. http://www.espn.go.com/media/pg2/2005/1003/photo/damon_265.jpg Why is Johnny wearing an Astros hat? That could be one hell of an outfield, though. Taveres in LF with Lane in RF. Then Bagwell at 1B, Biggio at 2B, Ensberg at 3B and Everett at SS. Heck, maybe the Texas heat would maybe even make him cut his hair.
  20. A repeat of what yeszir said. Welcome to both of you. And also: Nice icon, WestMass.
  21. I'd say Shaq is the most dominant, but I'd have to agree with stocker and say Dwyane Wade.
  22. I don't think you need to put the winking face, HOFer51. Rivera should probably be on that list the way he pitchedd this year. He won't win it, but he deserves consideration.
  23. Are you joking me? http://aggies9496.com/Images/tuStuff/vywristband.jpg You bring Vince Young into the loudest stadium in all of college football, with 85,000 fans yelling as loud as possible (will be there this year) he will pull the same old UT crap and choke. I don't care what texas is ranked or how much national media this guy gets, it's Kyle Field and it's still Mack Brown at the helm. http://www.redneck.org/piss.gifhttp://aggies9496.com/Images/AggieGifs/SawHorns1.gif
  24. Alright guys, let's just try to do our best to put this one behind us. We already know that: - ESPN is a piece of crap compared to getting NESN all season - Clement pitched about as bad as possible - We left too many guys on - It will be 10 times louder in Boston Wells takes the ball tomorrow. Don't let the lobsided score get to you, we're still down 0-1 and two of the next three will be at our place.
