I am sick and tired of friggin wake. He sucks...he is finished, he should never start again. What does it take to make francona notice a pitcher is in trouble. What does it take to lose your place in this rotation. f*** wakefield is an awful pitcher, a f***ing three year old could hit that stupid knuckle ball. Adios wake, bullpen time for you. and before everyone jumps on me I dont care who starts in his place, anyone and I mean anyone would be better.

i mean christ almighty are yankee fans so f***ing stupid we have add disclaimers to our chants detailing what is sarcastic, what is addressed to them what is addressed to the team, and what is literal. Um, the have 26 championships, I would venture a guess that a lot of us insult them, chide and say mean things baout because they win.....jealous? absolutely. Envious? always. I have absolutely no faith in Francona. I wont blame him for this weekends fiasco--but I am getting tired of the cliches, and I am also firmly believe that stevie wonder's seeing eye dog could tell when pitchers dot have their stuff before it occurs to Francona. Thank God that ball hit Lowe he'd still be there pitching in the second inning if it hadn't. The problem of having a passive (that's me being nice) pussy (me being mean) for a manager is when the boys dont have it, he is utterly useless and inffectectual. He does nothing to lead the team, nothing to inspire and brings nothing to the table.. I 'd rather have that ball girl with the braids managing at least when you'd see more of her when they show the manager in the dugout. It would be a whole better to watch than that cue ball head chomping on his chaw.

I hope williamson continues to move into regular duty. In the emantime, how about Mendoza!!!!! it's been a long time, but i think we are really getting our money's worth out of this guy. I hated him for a long time, almost embree sized hate, but I like what I see and I must say I have a new level of conifence when I see medoza stroll on to the hill

I am not quite sure its a matter of being a pessimist or an optimist--its being realistic. After years of having our hearts ripped out of our rib cages, it's really very natural to anticpate what has become the inevitable scenario all too familiar to sox fans. The last three games against sub par teams have been at best awful. Hopefully its a function of playing down to an opponent. And we show our true colors against team our equal. But if tif this is a pattern, and if it is going to happen again, I think I am being realistic in saying, man I am worried about the fact that we have I believe 8 games left with the o's, and 4 or 5 left with these annoying devil rays.

i think lowe will be the number three guy assuming we make the playoffs, and bronson that guy he might start if necessary.

we wont use him in the post season, maybe long relief but I think you have seen the last of wakefiled for awhile.God willing.

finally. think wake has been give enough opportunities. I would agree its bullpen time for him permanently...any thoughts on new starter....mendoza??? -4 we gotta get this thing going...this pitcher of theirs sucks and he sweats like an animal.

sheffield has always a big classess, crass, steriod using, dolt. He clearly lacks brains--but he doesnt reflect the typical yankee, becasue they are resorting to anything to keep winning. Sheff wouldnt last day on our team or in boston.. You can have him. Unlike empire I have mastered the internet and can read artciles from a lot of different newspapers from all over the world. It';s really quite amazing. *******.

A carpet bagger with a chip on his shoulder is a pretty lame yankee star if you ask me. before anyone takes a shot at exmaining last night's game, I think it is worth mentioning that we have scored 2 runs in the last 18 innings. Any explanation for that? The fact that it has against two of the worst teams in baseball, causes me to woinder what's up. We demolish some of the best and then look anemic against the worst. Is this a pattern or a fluke. As usual; Els has brought this thing into perspective. Last night reminded me of the feeling one gets being a redsox fan. The waiting ...the knot in my stomach, just waiting for these guys to break out...the call in the middle of the game from some ******* friend....."your boys arent looking too good tonight"...the canned response-"dont worry its early they'll get to this guy"....Trot's homer, hey we're back....the final, a loss to the rays. I suffer from redsoxfanitis, and the last few weeks have beeen the stuff that delusions are made of. The fact is we have a chance but its a long road. Over the years I have seen many a redsox team fizzle i pre yankee games. I hope they turn it around tonight, but with wake pitching I am doubtful. Anywaym surprsiing as it may seem I havent turned on Bellhorn,. but he looked just awful last nmight. I will add for the millionith time that embree is the worst pitcher we have, and seeing him try and pitch makes we want to contribute to the Jimmy Fund to try and help him with his affiction. We went about 17 innings with out scoring. I dont get it. i assure you he isnt afraid of the yankees. walking in the streets around the stadium is more frightening these days than playing at the stadium.
