doesnt the manager decide who pitches. If the guy was hurt and terry didnt know. Thats not very impressive. If terry was watching the game he could see the guy was laboring...it occured to him there was a problem when the score was 6-0. Why do poeple defend this wimp. Sure the players play the game, svhilling threw the pitches and the ynakees hit the ball. But time and time again our so-called manager has bungled the only task he has...pitching...leaving guys in too long, pulling guys too early, bringinig in the wrong reliever, letting games get out of hand and sticking with guys because he's nice as opposed to smart. One of the reasons we are on the short end of the stick is becasue we brandish the most bizarre sense of loyality to the wrong people. Fire his ass and bring in a winner. Today.

tito gets all the blame and then some. He uses his starters way too long, and he is a spinelss turd. If schilling was in a body cast bledding and vomiting but told francona he could pitch, terry would say Oh okay, you dont look so good but give it a whirl and we;'ll see how it goes, let me know when I can take you out. Pedro has pitched way too many innings this year, and schilling has as well. he aint no spring chicken..These guys are like sprost cars and need handling..Jimy Williams was no prize, but he hooked these guys early and often.

I think francona is a s***** manager before during and after any game. Much of what you say is right, however, and I am second guessing. But I could tell schilling was off as could the announcers. If he said he was fine and could start, fine. He lied. But when it was clear he was faltering and throwing 5 to 8mph less than usual--I would taken him out. and to hell with his pride, etc. I think wakefield was the wrong move, he hadnt pitched in a long time.Mendoza and embree, et al. were doing fine--I thought we were carrying 11 arms just so we would have the arms for situations like this. What's more Myers wasnt even warming up at that point int he game where Timlin was faltering. Once he let two guys on I would have taken him out. Second guessing is easy, but I dont think Francona is a good manager and he is severly outclassed in this series. Go pedro.

Because he didnt have any stuff, becasue you dont want the injury to get worse, and becaue you might want to keep the score close. then your regular bullpen is doing the job, keep ing the game close.What does francona do, he puits in f***ing wakefield because he hasnt pitched in awhile and is astarter not a reliever. He gives up twqo more runs. Then he brings in embree who for once did well-he leaves him against righties and lefties, and then after he does well. He yanks him for timlin. Th guy who got tagged the other day. No one warming up. Myers sitting on his ass. Timlin lets a couple of guys on...lefties at bat. Still no action in the bullpen. Unbelievable.

I can accept defeat, my entire baseball fan career has been centered around it. what the f*** is going in here. I am the first guy in the world to start this kind of stuff but not this year!
