    i'm sure he did, but I wont give him any credit for anything, becasue I hate him so much. ortiz on second, millar on first ..1 down, go sox. PS: I hate complimenting yankees but I cant remember the last time Torre has made a snafu--or done something as stupid as Francona does on a daily basis.

    m an, I hope your right. I hadnt considered a possible positive spin on this I have just been too pissed off. Although, this certainly isnt the first time that f***cona has been the last eprson on the planet not to know is pitcher is out of gas. So somehow I dont think this will magically help him grow a brain overnight--mush as I hope your right.

    I think anyone would be better..remy I honestly think the fault for all this lstems from management--they seem attracted to happless dupes, little now francona...could it be they want a pushover in the dugout. Needless to say, this team has a lot of characters on board. A lot of individuals. Joe Torre wouldnt be the right fit. But there has got to be a manager in the market who can be tough and smart about the game and attentive to the needs of the players off the field. Eck...why not...right now..we have amjor loser in there and he alone can very possibly foil this years dream. I hope he will be villified forever if that happens. And, this isnt just about last night colossal mis management--it's about an entire season of catastrophically bad managing

He might have been the only person watching that game that didnt know Pedro waas losing it. How can the players put up withy this incompetence. Hiow mantyn wins has Francona lost for Pedro, for others. The papers are all coparing this tio the Grady move. WWhat about thursday's game and the entire season. It isnt as though Francona just suddenly amde a mistake--that gives him way to much credit. He is been an absolutely awful manager the entire season. He is a clown and a moron.

    I respect him and I appreciate what he has accomplished. But I never really understood why we have him. Hell, I want to see thse guys win the East.. I dont see Burks as the best guyy we have coming off the bench. I know he worked hard, but september games with the expanded roster isnt the place for courtesy at bats, teaching rookies or giving somebody a chance yto hit big league pitching-with a pennant on the line.

    situational managing...do you honestly think he'll start becoming a "situational manager" in the playoffs. He is the worst f***ing manager in the major leagures. No question about that. How we got this far is testament ot the players. Because he is just so friggin bad. He gave up on last night nights game. I have no idea why..but he just throw it away. His selection of pitchers makes no sense, and his inability to see an inning ahead ijs just incredible. He is really so ineffectual it isnt even funny.

    having a quick hook requires having some knowledge of how to handle a picthing staff, a brain and backbone, francona has none of the above.

    francona is a big friggin moron. No I am not panicing...we lose three in a row not the end of the world, losing to the Ms, and the devil rays, ok...but this francona is a big dummy. First of all, wake is a stiff and his damn knuckle ball sucks. So for startes timmy should be one. Secondly, why does he leave these guys in to get clobbered. Lowe and pedro shouldnt have been pitching, when it became apparent to everyone with f***ing eyes that they were in trouble. If you ask me the manager has made the last three games worse, and thats saying something. God, I hope we win it all, I hope we pull out of this funk, and God, please fire this clown as soon as possible!!!!PLEASE!!!!
