Players who may not be in Boston uniforms after tonight: Derek Lowe Pedro Martinez Orlando Cabrera Jason Varitek It;s too early to specualte, becasue they will be in unifrom at the wordl series.. but that being said I would be happy with all of them staying. Of course, Lowe is expendable for now...I'll decide that one around 12 tonight.

I cant say it, never would and never will. but bellhorn does..suck that is...but I was happy with him last night--after he grounded into a double play with bases loaded or struck out, no it was the homer!!!!

I totally agree....it's the press and some fair weather fans who think the guy should be striking out 10+ every time out. I would be pissed off if they let him go...He has done a lot for this team, he is part of the club, the fabric of the clubhouse and I think he should stay here until he hangs them up. The papers try everything to tweak him, to piss him off and to question his every move and sentence...I say please sign up for more, I would scream and cry if they let him slip away... Pedro isnt stupid enough to let greed make him think he could play for the yankees, their team philosphy and hi just arent a match... The do would have to go, too. Stay Pedro....we respect and appreciate you!

that celebration will be something to see, and I cant wait. The point is those stormtroopers werent there to ward off some kind of celebration. They were there becasue the fans were throwing s*** on the field. Over a supposed "bad" call. Listen, Fenway fans arent angels, but they are loyal, loud, and smart and dont do stuff like that ever. The best fans in baseball by far.. It was typical, I thought... How weird though, to see those riot gear clad ghouls file out of the dugout, what do they sit around waiting for the yankmee fans to get obnoxious, mand those cops must be busy. It didnt surprise me, but it was freaky.

bellhorn was the hero last night and still sucks. Man, those strikeouts are a disaster. But a broken clock is right twice a day,and he had to get wood on the ball eventually. Jesus needs to get his s*** together in the meantime.

Nothing makes me happier than to add some fuel to this fire. I read in the new york papers today he was stillw hining about it... He siad, are you ready for this, maybe I should have just run him (bronson) over. What a classless chump. I think that was a little league move, and even kids 8 and 9 know that that is a classless bush league play,. I am soooooo glad we didnt sign that homo. New york can have him... That was a new low in baseball. Never seen that. It makes Delgado's running over doug M. seem like a good thing.

wakefield said in a press conference it was lowe, but I guess that really isnt official. I still dont know what the fuss is with our bullpen...like you said Timlin had the night off, embbree hasnt pitched many innings, most of the games, but he should be fine. Mendoza didnt pitch in game 4or 5 or 6...Myers has thrown about 10 pitches in game games 4 and 5 combined and dint pitch last night. L:eskanic has been idle for two games. We should be ready to go.

wow, I dont believe what I am reading. But what the hell I am in such a trance right now, and so friggin excited, I would say and agree to anything....this is hard to stomach, but with game 7 looming I'll say Francona's a genius if it helps us win.

i had a feeling this would come up-I was thinking someone would suggest letting damon sit down the way he is playing. I love johnny and keep waiting for a break out game from him, and waiting, and waiting.... I dont know where I stand on this, but I do know I like roberts and he appears to be a fabulous memeber of the team. While Doug M. has mouthed off to at least the new york media about his playing time you never hear anything from roberts. Last night as those idiots in the booth said he was messing gordo up just by the thought of a steal, and with that gordon walked the batter. he makes an impact pure and simple. I think roberts would be fine in the line-up and I agree with els maybe its time to let dougie have a go... That said I would be stunned if francona did anything as bold and calculated as that. Under the pressure in the playoff s I predict he'll go with the same old line-up. He might wisen up, but I for one would be absolutely stunned.

I hope you're right, yankeesdrool....Flash sucks, and Mo has blown two saves in a row... Medoza and leskanic both didnt pitch last night, and Myers has pitched about 9 pitches in two games...We still have arroyo, lowe will be available,and wakefield of course can pitch. Our bullpen is fine. Yankees used 'em all lst night Mo has never picthed 2 innings like that back-to-back. I am not quite sure Yanksdrool has a clue what he is talking about ...But whatever. Go sox. Kick ass.. schilling...schilling...schilling.

Soeaking for this redsox fan we appreciate the support and the more the merrier. It's good versus evil. Us against them. Estaban pitched like a couple of years ago, but in the end (thankGod) we triumphed. Sorry about the drama but hey welcome to redsox baseball. Makes you happy to be a white sox fan, I'll bet.

Sheffield was quoted in the Boston Herald saying the Red Sox are "a walking disaster. They act like they are tough but it's all a front. They're just a bunch of characters." Who's the idiot....? a win's a win yankeesdrool, and it's jon lieber, mister big yankee fan...you probably would taken more seriously if you could spell the player's names correctly but that said. It is Francona's call...all the way...els..amnd I am hoping he suddenly and out of nowehere finds the hairy nuts to walk out to the mound and tell schill whether to stay in or come out. I dont think we can afford one of those let the pitcher decide moments. We all know Curt would try and take the ball even if he lost feeling both legs and his arms and had to roll the ball in with his chin. I hate sheffield. go schilling.

i would be lying if I said last night's victory after saturday's thrashing felt even better because of that. I hate the yankees and I hate their fans. They make me want to vomit. No matter what happens they will still be a horde of classless smug punk ass bitches. Go sox.

I have been a highly vocal critic of Derek lowe. He has let the nation down more times than I can mention here. But god dammit, he did well last night. He had the best start out of anyone so far in this series. and that includes the outing by pedro. Maybe we'll see him again--maybe not (not wanting to jinx anything I wont even bother finishing this thought) . I have to say very gutty performance by derek and I for one tip my hat and thank him for a damn good effort and a pretty damn good time with our club. Thanks Derek and I wont ever forget the guts you showed last night. BTW_Bellhorn blows. Go pedro

francona is weak little jelly fish spineless, f***ing dork. Bellhorn sucks in the field and sucks at the plate. His f***-ups cost us dearly. francona is the worst manager in the history of baseball. A doofus, a dip s*** and dolt. By the way wake field sucks as well. I hope we get rid of him in the offseason. The sad thing is they like francona, which is hard to believe. We really suck. Not much else to say, this was embarassing. The worst pitching preformance I have seen.
