    The thing with Clement is this.. Last year he was forced into the ace role in the rotation because of injuries to Schill and Wells. I'd still like to see what happens if he pitches in the #3 slot that he was supposed to be pitching in. Remember, he was the DLowe replacement and shouldn't have been lined up against #1 and #2 starters for the entire year. I think it just wore him out - and that shot to the head didn't help any (he noticably changed his landing spot in starts afterwards and was flinching a lot). Now, that said, he is the odd man out if we need to trade a starter for a centerfielder. I think he could be the ace on a lesser staff in any other division and I think it would be a good pickup for one of those teams.

    I'm right there with you. I thought once the Theo return happened all would be good, but I cannot believe how negative the radio and even the columns have been. Amazing. I don't even like Mike Adams that much, but he's the only Weei guy who seems to be logical.

    Things have obviously changed to the point where Epstien feels he can come back. Who really cares what changed? As for Hoyer and Cherington, I'm sure they got substancial raises due to their time as GMs. They are fine with Theo's return, so again I ask, WHO CARES?

    A lot will depend on how Lowell returns and how Youk plays in general at 1b. In the end I feel we're going to want to upgrade the power at 1b.

    I don't think we should move Wells or Clement until we know the true status of Schilling and Foulke (sometime in spring training). Also, the longer we hold onto them the more valuable they may become in some other team's eyes.
