    I hate the mlb.tv player interface. Last year I used to be able to copy the url of the video file and play it in the stand alone Real Player - I could then adjust the size of the video and play it in theatre mode. But I can't figure out how to do that tonight. I keep getting an error. Uhhhh.

    Rice's career was ended by an eye problem. Mattingly's was ended by a back problem. Really, Puckett won a WS and Rice and Mattingly didn't. That's the only diff.

    I don't know anything about the economics of the NFL. What exactly does making a player a "franchise player" or "franchising him" mean? Can you do it for more than a year?

    Not bad. Not great. Just like the WBC... I gotta say, I saw the first commercial for it the other day and it did get me pumped. Only 10 more days till we see some surprisingly competitive baseball. How can you not like that? But if any Sox player gets hurt, I'll be pissed. If any Sox player over extends himself and is toast by September, I'll be pissed. If Jeter or Arod blows out their ACL, it will all be worth it.

    I love CT basketball - mens and womens. F'n great. What a game! I was sure I was going to see them lose. (I've seen all two losses this year out of like 6 games watched).... But they'll be ok.
