    I saw this game coming. I was pretty sure Schilling was going to be Schilling today, although I thought Chacon would've been better. I think they yanked him way too early in favor of Rodriguez. I think Torre blew this one, but it's over so what can you do? Try to take the series tomorrow, with Unit on the hill.

    Wow that is a scary looking Mark Bellhorn. Yankees > Patriots, unless you are talking about the last 4 years. In all honesty, I think the Patriots are more respected because of the manner they've taken care of their business in the last few years. That makes them less hated, far less than the Yankees. However, for history and overall greater franchise the Yankees own New England.

    Point taken, well said. On that theme, will we see Schilling next weekend? If the offense is clicking, it will be the best barometer of how Schilling has progressed.

    Yes, and we're playing with what, the second best record at home in baseball? Don't get all high and mighty. Your next 4 games are against two of the best teams in the American League, and we've got the last place Devil Rays. I can't see how Boston has the easier road here. It's amazing you know, despite the fact they beat us this year it gives them ZERO advantage going into the game Tuesday. They won those games then. Good for them, but it won't help them now. The Yankees are a determined and capable team and there is no reason to expect them to have a hard time with Tampa. Whoa, wait a second. Are you saying that someone's post (besides every single one you have made) was stupid? Pot calling the kettle black, as it were.

    Every single post was about Boston until this one. We don't bring our team into the conversation about 95% of the time the threads get turned. If the topic is brought up mid thread, then we'll defend our position. However, we are hardly changing everything into a Yankee thread.
