Back on June 24th, we were 32-46, but Pyth had us at 38-40. (6 wins off)

Now we are 82-68 with Pyth having us at 85-65 (3 wins off)

It looks like Pyth was saying we were better than our record showed back then, and we were. All that winning and we only gained 3 wins back from Pyth.

We're second best in the AL according to Pyth, yet some think we have very little chance at winning the AL.

The Rays have the best record.

The Yanks have the best Pyth.

We have the best record in MLB since June 25th. That's 71 games.

If we go 4-6, we'll be at 53-28. The Rays would have to go 8-2 to tie us. Why are so many Sox fans down on our chances? Many who are down seem like they value recency factors. I know we can cherry-pick some recent sample size that has us near .500, but two can play that game...
