In a game with Sandy v Schlittler, at YS, down 1-0 after 5 is still okay.  3.2 IPs left to get to him or get to the BP.

Yeah, Monasterio missed that but there’s no way on earth Story gives you that kind of at bat. Simply no way.

Except for Gray the Sox starters are good for a max of 5.1 innings. The 6th inning is a bridge too far.

Did anyone see Rafaela 's running on that ball ? He was thinking it would be caught this time.  Wouldn't have mattered

I would have held Rafaela. Not his fault. That ball was too shallow. Good effort by him.

Through 6.5 innings this has been way more competitive (1-0 Yankees) than I expected.  Sandoval was terrific.

Rafaela has hurt the good guys with two baserunning errors, which might have been 1b and 3b coaching errors.

Our #3 and #4 hitters ain't hitting and not just tonight.  Sox have K'd 9 times but drawn 6 BB's.
