i agree southpaw, im listening on offers but need a lot and am going in skeptical someone will meet my asking price and im not settling for whatever i can get cuz chapman and contreras are signed for next year and id like to try to keep gray around a little longer.

Abreu isn't a top 10 offensive RFer. Good glove, but he's replaceable.

Mayer, Anthony, Kristian Campbell, Casas has me a little skeptical of trading a bird in teh hand (abreu) for 2 in the bush (2 top prospects).  And going forward outfield is a position of need, especially if you trade abreu.

Take away the top 3 who are simply not available....btw all guys who ive screamed about before they got THIS good....but too late now....James wood, jordan walker, corbin carroll.....those are like my 3 favorite players.  

Take them away and how many RF'ers left are better than abreu?  3-4 ??

I'd trade Abreu for someone else's Roman Anthony. Straight up.

so top prospect who has lost luster.....like byron buxton when he was 24 and everyone was tihnking how is this guy a bust but he was just a late bloomer?

Just depends what’s coming back.

what I don’t like is paying these kids before they prove anything in MLB. I would have paid Abreu instead of Anthony, who’s proved nothing in MLB and appears a little soft.

the fact the Sox haven’t even made an offer to Abreu after GGs and the AS game makes me think they’re not going to ever.

I am positive its GA Tech in KC's case.  Cora even said that!  You ever see that video , its so painful, of Cora trying to tell KC he made the team out of camp?

Unproven kids (Anthony/Campbell) who he deemed the future. Haven’t proved one thing in MLB and were given 23.5 per between them, but not the young LH GG Ofer who has proven himself? Odd.

Well, I had nothing against any of them...but I did only intend to pick my 3 favorite right fielders....the rest is just coincidence.  Personally, Im not in a hurry to upgrade from Abreu.
