May has been a complete bust.  Breslow made the deal at the last minute to save face.  He knew what May was and tried to appease the masses.

That's 51 GS, and some say our bats are our weakest area.

Agree May is not yet a disaster.  Plus Tolle looks like an awfully good 4th starter.  The bullpen doesn't look so hot, but have been good.  Overall, the Sox pitching is good. 

The problem now is the hitting.

Nope.  Gonzalez and Narvaez come thru with K's with the bases loaded.  These are our Boston Red Sox right now.  Don't forget that the top 3 in the order are hitless with 5 K's in 9 at bats.  Ain't that something?

Campbell was a disaster at 2b.  Hamilton has the 3d best DWAR for 2d basemen in MLB.  Today he  hit the ball hard twice while Anthony was striking out 3 times.   The Sox believe Campbell has a lot of potential, but he is nowhere near it right now.
