1B, DH or LF is probably where he will end up as he ages.  That is probably true for Devers too.  So that leaves Casas as a possible valuable trade piece.

NO to Eovaldi at this point. Sox need a true #1 SP

That is easy: he is the number one set up man and back-up closer. He will get many save opportunities, too.

I don't think Hendriks is going to be the closer. He hasn't had closer stuff since getting cancer.

Oh sure. Any guy that pitches towards the end of the game picks up a few chances during the year. They may even give him a shot at the beginning of the year. I just don't think he's going to have the best stuff out there.
