One good thing today is that the Sox will only need to get 24 outs instead of the unreachable 27

That $17 million may have been the worst part of the trade . Not that the Sox would have necessarily used the money, it's the principle of being stupid.

The Dodgers gave up on Jansen years ago. Estevez might be on their radar.

 

Chase Anderson hasn’t pitched since July 10. He’d be almost be done with an IL stint if he was actually injured.

 

And what’s Cora’s Problem with Winckowski? Doesn’t like that he got these Dodgers out?

Not saying it was a good trade. It looks horrible, now.

 

1. There is a long way to go before the final grade is in.

2. There are plenty of horrific trades in Sox history... maybe more than 5 are worse. I'm thinking Babe Ruth, Betts, Sparky Lyle, Bagwell, Cecil Cooper just off the top of my head.

3. It was one year of Sale.
