Let's see what Bullpen Roulette has in store for Cora tonight. Given the O's LH hitters, maybe a dose of Joely and Brennan B.

 

Except BB went 2 last night, throwing 29 pitches. Guessing he might not be available.

Valdez's bat is leaving something to be desired, mostly a base hit. 3 guys in the lineup tonight hitting below .190 , although Abreu got himself to .190 with 2 for 3 so far. 4 players with OPS below .600 led by Yoshi at .592

 

Valdez and Reyes in a race to the bottom at .335 and .340 respectively, both of which are below TSW's lifetime BA.

At this point the SOX are offensively similar to the 1968 Cardinals. Bob Gibson ended that season with a 1.12 ERA and still had 9 losses.

Sox have turned 2 double plays, committed no errors, and have a 2-1 lead with just 6 outs to get against the Orioles tonight--and the curmudgeons don't like it. Not good enough they say.

Long day at work- nice weather here finally... come home and watch this game! I hope we win... but either way it has been a very fun game to watch. I like me some baseball... so happy the season is here. I'm also following the Royals a bit this year- caught a game in KC last week, and the Witt is very fun to watch play the game.

The SOX have a half-Witt at SS. I meant he's only half as good.

First error, by Reyes at 3B. Devers would have made that play. They moved Rafaela in to play 2b, who not Devers to play 3B?
