If we had Blackburn, I'm sure Bernardino would pitch just as much.

 

The guys who would pitch less have names like Jacques and Llovera.

 

I’m sure it would really mess Bernardino up if he couldn’t start the game anymore, and had to wait to the 6th inning. Of course if you had a good starter he might not be needed at all.

Jay's are not that good. Frig, they were 0-7 VS the Sox before this series. They will be gone in the first round of the playoffs like they were last year.

They are close to the same but yes, Jay's are slightly better but that's not saying much compared to the Sox.

Their run differential was close coming into this series. Blue Jay's have a good record in one run games unlike the Red Sox.

 

The only difference is that the Jay's have a way better defense and better overall pitching.

 

That alone will win you more ball games throughout the year.

 

If the Red Sox had a great defense they would probably be 3rd place in the division instead of last.
