Pitcher was struggling and Raffy swings at a bad pitch.

It would have been a called strike. Plus next up was Duvall, and he is not yet what he was in the first 8 games.

2 outs, Winck give up a smash up the middle that Arroyo partially blocks, but it rolls just far enough that the runner scores. Doesn't matter because, Sox are about to score 8 ( over the next 4 games)

Notice Winck chased the foul bloop, but failed to back up the plate on Arroyo's throw. Didn't matter as he jammed the yankee lightweight Volpe

I hope I live long enough to see Casas reach his potential. In the interim, he is miserable to watch at the plate

Except for our first-baseman, second baseman, and short stop.... we actually have a really solid infield.

among 3rd basemen, Devers is 5th worst in field pct and second in errors. it's like the bad news bears out there.

We have people in this organization that can get a base hit... why we keep tolerating 0-fers from our first baseman is beyond me.

Is Duran in Cora's doghouse or does he have to change his name to Duranz?

I bet in four at bats he would have had a base hit tonight.

Arroyo hits yet another warning track flyball . He does that with some frequency.

But only when he's healthy. Btw, a very good start by Houck, but giving up 2 runs is a bridge too far for this SOX anemic offense.

But at least he can hit... the others aren't even a threat with the bat.

GET CASAS OUT OF THE LINEUP!!!!!! I know it won't happen- but wow he is a hole in the line up

His OPS for June before this game was .997.
