I remain intrigued by Anthony! I did not think he had elite bat speed, but the results are fantastic

Before long, he may be our #1 prospect.

Anthony was just recently promoted, don't see him getting the double bump.

Bonaci has less than 200 AB's at A+, probably is there the rest of 2023 unless there are AA promotions to AAA. I could see Kavadas or Yorke getting called up at some point. Not sure either has 100% mastered AA though. The WOO roster has lots of issues and both guys could find fulltime playing roles there.

Bonaci should be in Portland now!!!

Yorke should be in Worcester!!!!!

I think Anthony gets 300 at bats in Greenville before they promote him

They are moving guys quicker than they have recently. I'm not sure they are really ready to move Yorke yet. Can't move Bonaci until one of Yorke/Meidroth/Mayer is promoted. They would run out of AB's.

He should probably be ahead of Rafaela. Bleis is injured and they tend to not ding prospects for that.

True, but if Anthony has shown he is "better," then it should not show Bleis got worse by going down one slot.

If he's in A ball and needs to be put on the 40 man, maybe. That's clearly not the case though.

Anthony on fire at Greenville. The promotion was really interesting since it was almost all on the batted ball data.

@SoxProspects

Some transactions today. More likely to come.

1B Niko Kavadas: AA -> AAA

UT Ryan Fitzgerald: Assigned to FCL Red Sox for rehab assignment.

RHP Daury Pena: Assigned to DSL Red Sox Blue.

Kavadas makes sense in WOO as Scott was playing too much 1B due to roster issues.

@SoxProspects

More transactions:

IF/OF Max Ferguson AAA -> A+

LHP Rio Gomez off of AAA development list

And not a transaction, but Dinelson Lamet will enter the AAA rotation and will start tomorrow. Barraclough tonight, Drohan Sunday.

Not a surprise about Ferguson. He was only sent up to WOO because of the roster issues. "Org guys" are often moved around like that whenever they need to fill in some cracks. It also shows to me that they don't really see much of a ceiling in Ferguson.
