I have guarded optimism that the Sox can beat Cole at Yankee Stadium.They couldn't hit Taillon so I am not sure, outside of Devers, that they will hit Cole. Let's hope.

Yeah, Chris sale should have known on a weakly hit grounded to third, his third basemen would throw ball over the catchers head when a runner is meat, and let a run score and allow runners on 2nd and 3rd again.

If Devers throws out Lemaheiu, like he should have, there is a high likelyhood 0 runs score that inning. Sale gave up 1 hard hit ball, unfortunately it was the one that injured him seriously

If Devers makes the play an MLB 3rd basemen SHOULD make, there is runners on 1st and 2nd with 2 outs, 0 runs in, with Carpenter coming up in a lefty/lefty matchup. Sale jammed Carpenter. That inning is on Devers for the error
