I went to 2 games in July 2013.

I saw Napoli hit a walk off 3 run HR !

I went in September of 2012. Saltalmacchia hit the only SOX HR, a solo blast into the SOX BP. The SOX lost. Something they did 93 times in 2012.

Great. Please keep an eye on VAZ.

Can we clone John Schrieber and have a pen of just him?

Trading him is fine, but who you going to replace him with? The Red Sox are having trouble with the OF as it is.

The Sox outfield needs a makeover.

They have awful HR production

My team is the SOX, so how's that gonna work?

Just batting the idea around ! Be open to new experiences.

We have like 18 left fielders and 2 CF/RF'ers who can only play D- Refsnyder not included.

Can everyone hold the noise down while Duran tries to break the Palladium Sombrero curse.

Which he does, not a hit, but he actually hit the ball forward

But, only his frozen head.

If Ted could talk, he'd say, John Henry you are also dead but warmer than me, Thanks, kid

Here's a better idea. Bloom should try to trade Bogey and JD. They're both gonna be gone at the end of the season anyway.

Although that would be a gut punch emotionally for a Sox fan, I think it would pay off in 2023. As constructed and injured this current version is not a championship team . Get 2 or 3 more real pieces if anyone will sell same for a SS and DH

I remember going there once as a kid with my dad to see the Red Sox play the Yankees. We were running very late, about 90 minutes late and I figured we would get to the park with the game already half over. But when we got there we only missed a half inning because the Yankees were already ahead 11-0.

For your sake I don't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Of course, the SOX came back and won the game.

The team is obviously slumping now. But we are still in the WC race-and as Atlanta proved last year all you have to do is get in. I think this team will hit, eventually. We definitely need to upgrade in the OF (ie get rid of Bradley) and at 1B. But if our SP can come back and pitch the way they are capable of pitching we could still be ok in October.

Ummm…I don’t remember. I was like 8 years old. I just remember the 11-0 score. Nowadays I would just turn around and go home

Brasier got smacked around, but could have been out it unscored on with a competent center fielder.

Our CF can’t field and he is overmatched at the plate. He isn’t ready for the ML yet. Not sure he will ever be.

What, no love for the guy who bought 4 championships for Boston?

You are slipping , SS. John Henry was Ted's only son who played in the Sox MiLB system briefly. John died at an early age a few years after his famous Dad. The JH who is a principal owner of a soccer team is another guy

The FUX announcers make this game seem like it's on the YES network.

There’s a lot to praise about the Yankees right now.

That being said, they’ve been downright neutral compared to Costas’ performance in Thursday night on MLB network. I thought he was going to fellate half the Yankee team. Verducci tried to keep it balanced but Costas never shut up.
