Why would you want your top RBI man leading off? Who is going to drive in the runs that Story has even if they were getting the same opportunities with men on base.

Our bottom of the order is doing much better the last 3-4 weeks.

Story is fast.

Leading Kike off is a mistake.

I guess we could lead off our best singles hitter- JD, but we already have issues scoring from 2B on doubles.

Are you saying Cora is wrong leading Kike off? I agree Cora is wrong.

I hope you don't believe the SOX are gonna average 7 runs/game for the rest of the season. You'll be very disappointed.

Naw man i know but after last night’s game i figure they would score more today. They’re more than capable.

Just because I really like Cofra, does not mean I never disagree.

(BTW, many times I disagree, his choice works, so who is wrong?)

Cora did stick with Kike in the leadoff slot a long time, last year, and it finally paid off. Was he wrong? In hindsight, I'd say yes. He should have know precisely when Kike was going to heat up, and put him leading off that very day.

Looking at Suarez's ERA, I thought the Sox would use him like a batting practice pitcher.

We've had many chances.

Not that 5 is a bad number.

I know it's probably all in my head, but I swear we hit good pitching better than we do unknowns and struggling pitchers.

Any pitcher at the major league level is capable of shutting down any other team. How often they can do it is what separates the great from the good from the average from the poor.

Bobby Dee Pee

Base hit pre shift. Of course, his first RBI hit of the night was a routine grounder pre shift as well. The shift giveth and the shift taketh away.
