Story now has more Ks than Jackie Bradley Jr. and Verdugo combined.

And honestly looks clueless in doing so at bat

Does anyone think that bringing in Bogaerts' replacement while X was still ostensibly negotiating an extension sent the most negative possible message to this team , leading to a truly uninspired season ? It should not affect the individual AB's plaguing this team but they have seem uninspired since day 1

Cease will cause the RED SOX offense? to desist.

We need to cease and desist taking borderline pitches and swinging at balls in the dirt.

My next astonishment came from reading that Chris "Frail" Sale's recovery and return to the mound is now delayed a few weeks due to a"personal medical issue" . This walking medical disaster is way beyond his expiration date. He will be the newest dead money contract for the Sox. I cannot be enthused thinking about this straw in the wind.

Dems the chances an organization takes when handing out expensive long-term contracts.

Pivetta having a great outing so far

Indeed, but why does he het to go 3 times through an order but not Wacha or Hill?

Excellent job today by Pivetta. Starting pitching continues to be the best thing about this team. Who'd a thunk?

It did not start out that way, this season.

The pen actually started out better, but wow, the starters have really stepped up.

Too bad nobody else has.

My concern is say the SOX offense does start producing runs; will the starters be able to adjust to having more runs to work with?

To a degree I understand managing the 42 year old Hill’s innings, but Wacha should have a longer leash

Fair enough.

Can we please stop the Houck piggybank cah-cah?

Schreiber might just be a keeper, or is everyone else in the pen so bad, a couple good games in a row is all you need to be promoted to the top set-up man?

Verdugo looks lost at the plate .

He lets 2 hittable strikes go by, then swings at a ball below the plate .
