Could have won the series and been going for the sweep tomorrow. Horrible loss. Have to bounce back tomorrow but its going to be tough.

They have been s***. Too much inconsistency. Still early but can they start showing you something against these divisional opponents? These games count especially in a tough division.

Last night Story saved Barnes; tonight he burned Robles.

Maybe not playing 2B all that much is part of it, but this loss really sucks.

So much for being better defensively this year. This is now 2 games lost on the D in the last few days

A very s***** start to this season. Lousy hitting and spotty pitching. Just an inconsistent team. Still very early but these games count against your divisional rivals.

I took full credit for yesterday's win, but tonight I have to blame MOON. No particular reason, but I certainly had nothing to with this loss. Sorry, Moon, but I posted earlier that if the SOX lost tonight, I'd throw you under the bus. I know you can handle that. The next time the SOX lose when you've started the game thread, you may throw me under the bus.

If the bus runs me over, how can I start a game thread?

Yes.

Haddix is most notable for pitching 12 perfect innings in a game against the Milwaukee Braves on May 26, 1959; the Pirates lost the game in the 13th inning.[

There have been several, including one by Rich Hill 4-5 years ago vs. the Pirates. Hill gave up a homer in the 10th to lose.

A really bizarre one occurred on May 2, 1917. The Reds’ Jim Tobin threw a complete 10 inning no-hitter against the Cubs. The Cubs’ Hippo Vaughn no-hit Cincinnati through 9, but gave up 2 hits in the 10th to lose 1-0. It is the only game in MLB history where both teams were held hitless for 9 innings.

Getting a win after being no hit through nine is not very common. It would have been great to pull this one out.

Yeah that would have been the win of the year
