Yup, I take full credit. If the SOX lose today, I'll just throw MOON under the bus. Btw, thanks for all the stats.

Cant help but believe that Devers' past history of less than stellar defense will probably affect his dWAR from now into the future. He's been playing excellent defense since the season started.

No doubt Franco is worth every penny of that contract; hell, it's probably a bargain at today's prices. That being said, I hope it's 11 years w/o a WS ring. Nothing personal against Franco; I just dislike Tampa and the state they play in. Oh, I also dislike their ballpark. Edited by SPLENDIDSPLINTER

Dalbec is trapped in the Twilight Zone, HP calls are wrong on him leading him to chase further . OPS in the mid .400s. Tough situation

Hopefully, Casas can make the situation better. Hopefully being the key word.

Here's some cred, Sox no hit through 6 in a BP game . They are near Ft. Myers, how about an ST redo to get the bats ready.

I was going to post before the game started that Whitlock could pitch 5 shutout innings and still not qualify for a win. I wish I had. It would have given me some thread cred.

The thing is, he could've gone at least 5... Whitlock has thrown 4 in relief before... why not 5 as a starter? In other words, if they won't use him for more than 4 at the start, why not just save him for 4 at the end for high leverage?

It's still early, Vegas. I'm hoping we'll be notified when it is no longer early.

Red Sox getting no production from first base. Worst in baseball. How long do they go?

N.F.L. ---not for long, probably need to consider the moving of some parts in conjunction with the May 2 man cutdown.

Meanwhile the BP has been superb so far
