I think the sox let a golden opportunity get by. I think the Braves will make the stros look silly in this series. We made the stros pitching look really good.

What a wuss that Charlie Morton is. Why back in my day, we played with bones sticking out of our skin ALL THE TIME. And this guy bails on his team after two innings?? Where's the tough??? And how am I going to teach my kids to be bad-ass watching mamby-pamby modern athletes?

Don't count out Houston. They didn't get to 3 World Series in 5 years because they were willing to sit back and let a little think like "rules" get in their way...

Astros aren't out of it at all. With Morton down, Game 5 is a pen game for Braves

I don’t think the stros are gonna get away wit the stuff that they got away with against us especially the hitting part.

Hating both teams, I had more or less determined that I hated the Astros more.

Then the ATL fans showed up with the tomahawk chop.

Proving, I suppose, that Dan Snyder isn't the most socially tone-deaf a-hole in sports.

I don’t mind the Braves at all. Hope they win this sucker!!

Can't root for the Astros, despite their origins of being named after George Jetson's dog.. Not after 2017. They are fit to take their rightful place right behind the Yankees, sharing a bench with the Jets, Dolphins and the Lakers, on my Hierarchy of Loathsome Teams...

The Astros are in the same position that they were against the Sox. Down two games to one and looking at two on the road. It was at this point that they turned it around in the ALCS. Will it happen again?

Bravos win 3-2. Up 3-1 in the series. Bregman and Correa are stinking up the joint in this series. The stros might have met their match. Braves one win away from winning the world series. Not many could have predicted this.

When a manager takes out his potential Hall of Fame starting pitcher after 4 scoreless innings and 58 pitches, he deserves to lose the game.

😂 The guy was rolling no doubt. You leave him in until he gets into trouble. Braves where struggling with greinke.

Apparently he told dusty he was running out of gas. Maybe that’s why.

Greinke has pitched very little the last 2 months. Here are the dates he pitched:

Aug 29

Sep 14

Sep 19

Oct 3 2.1 IP 28 pitches

Oct 10 1.0/21

Oct 19 1.1/37

Oct 30 4.0/58

He was obviously far from 100% and not really stretched out to go far last night.

If he told his manager that he was out of gas, Dusty had to take him out. If not, Dusty should have rode him for 20-25 more pitches. It is Greinke, and when he is rolling, he is as good as they come.

I thought Dusty did a poor job of managing the bullpen usage and the game in general. And why bat Greinke eighth , right behind Gurriel? Greinke is a pretty decent hitter , but he basically just took the bat out of Gurriel's hands with that move.

Not only did it take the bat out of the hands of the AL batting champ, it also lead to Greinke’s early removal, since he was pinch hit for with two men on base…

Baker was taking him out regardless of whether or not his place in the order came up.

In the words of the late , great Dean Martin ; the Series is " Goin ' back to Houston, Houston, Houston." It sure didn't look that way after the first inning.

If Gurriel made the last out, Baker was going to take out Greinke and let the new pitcher lead off the next inning? Or pinch hit for that pitcher and go through his bullpen even faster?
