I can’t believe I even sniffed at the idea that Richards might be worth the $8.5M differential on the bonus/buy out.

This was a .500 team coming out of ST with weak pitching and 4 AAAA'ers in the lineup regularly. The O's screwed them out of the gate then, and are finishing up the job now.

You have to admit that this season was a lot more interesting than most people expected. Yes, at the end they choked, but I thought they would suck all year. At least they were in it for a long time
