After complaining about lack of patience at the plate yesterday, he sits Schwarber. You know the guy that worked a 9 pitch walk in addition to hitting a home run.

 

Schwarber is a good bat, even against lefties. But, because the Sox pitching has been so awful lately, I think Cora wants as good a defense as possible backing up his best starter.

I believe VAZ on the bench is giving SOX batters bad info on Lowther's stuff. So VAZ is even hurting the SOX on the bench.
