Blue Jays over Birds, 22-7. We could eliminate the bottom two teams in each league for a total of 4 and never miss them.

After which touchdown did the Jays go for 2?

I want Schwarber back next season. Power and plate discipline. Other guys can learn from him.

Plate discipline vs Kimbrel, try again

I agree, but once it got past him …

Not only did Robert misjudge a ball that you have to catch in CF, he is just a bit too giraffe like and goofy to be playing in CF. Looks a bit like it would look if the Red Sox but JD in CF....parish the thought. Surprised Robert didn't crash into the wall and knock himself out trying to pick that up after it got past him.

So yup...seems like 3rd would have been a possibility.

the post All Star general decline , especially compared to the pre A-S games is as much on the hitters as any pitching shortcomings. Add the Covid impact and JDM's sore back and it's been weak

I would say Kimbrel three days in a row is not working out for genius Tony.

Not if we never swing!

I'm serious.

No way he can throw 3 strikes before 4 balls.

Dalbec passes on a cookie pitch and swings at the low outside breaking ball . He has improved but that wasn't an example

As Whitlock was winding up, I was thinking, this is the perfect spot for that low breaking slider which MUST be swung at. Who called that FB in that 0-2 count ?

Meh. You want bad at bats, take a look at Schwarber all day today and throughout the Chicago series.

Agree completely. This is on Plawecki, whom I regularly defend/tout.
