It has to take the wind out of the team to see us lose games like these. Our bench tonight was Dalbec, Arauz and Gonzalez. what happened to the shakeup Cora was talking about? It's too late to shake things up when you totally collapse for two weeks.

Sometimes you have to give closers time to clear their heads when they suck back to back. They lead with a lot of pressure in a regular basis. Look at a Chapman.

 

Barnes right now does not look confident. A lot of load and pressure is in his head. The couple of knock outs of the weekend are still there. He can’t lead with pressure right now. It’s mental. Give him time to clear his head, he is not a clutch pitcher right now.

I'm not so sure about ownership being so bad. The team that is losing now is almost exactly the same team that lead the AL East for 2/3 of this season. But now they are terrible in every aspect of the game--pitching, hitting, running, defense. The same guys.

Honestly (and I don’t mean this to sound rude, you’re a good guy) I don’t give a s*** about dissecting games anymore. This team is f***ing losing and losing at a rapid rate. I don’t care anymore if it’s errors, pitching, bullpen, offense. We’re losing and keep losing. We lost a series to Detroit. Lost a series to the Jays. Tampa has now won 4 in a row against us or 5.
